This simulation runs until one of two things happens. Either the propellant tanks run dry, or the vertical velocity reaches zero. The first scenario is trivial, the second one requires some explanation. The trajectory used is a gravity turn, meaning the spacecraft blindly accelerates along its velocity vector. This means that when the rocket is starting to point downwards, it is going to do that increasingly fast. This is usually pointless, so the simulation is ended here.
